DUE TO BACTERIA IN THE WATER AT SEASIDE BEACH, THE SWIMMERS WILL START OFF THEIR ESCORT BOAT IN THE WATER. THERE WILL BE NO SWIMMERS ENTERING THE WATER AT SEASIDE BEACH.

Max # of Participants

We have reserved 10 solo swimmers, 5 two-person relays and up to 55 team relays – a maximum of 70 swimming boats for relays and solos combined.

Minimum Age

19 years old for solo swimmers and two-person relay team members, 13 years old for relay team members. Exceptions may be considered under the discretion of the Swim Committee.

Boats

Each swimmer/team has an escort boat. The committee works hard to secure enough boats, however, if we do not get enough escort boats to register we will be forced to limit the number of swimmers/teams we can support. In order to ensure your participation, we ask teams to help in our efforts to recruit boat captains by reaching out to family, friends and/or colleagues to secure a boat for their team. Awards

Awards to the top male and female solo swimmers and relay categories.

The relay team category focuses more on fundraising efforts for cancer programs sponsored by the Swim, rather than race results.
