Thankful for Swim Across the Sound’s Support

I was so very happy and relieved knowing that the Swim Across the Sound organization was going to help me financially with my bills. I was already feeling overwhelmed and stressed out about my cancer diagnosis and beginning treatments. It felt so reassuring knowing that there is an organization that helps with household bills. I thanked God for sending them my way.  I had only lived in CT for 4 months when I received my cancer diagnosis after a routine mammogram.

I am so happy I chose St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Dr. Zelkowitz, nurse Nicole, and social worker Brandy. They were all so awesome, caring and always supportive giving encouragement throughout my journey with treatments.
